Our Facilitators

Join Our Team

The Network (Western Sydney Suicide Prevention and Support) is currently seeking a facilitator to provide therapeutic support groups in the Hawkesbury Region.

Groups are held fortnightly and run for two hours each, aiming to provide safe and therapeutic support to people whose lives have been impacted by suicide or who are bereaved by suicide.

If you are interested in improving mental health outcomes in our region, supporting people with complex bereavement, and have a passion for suicide awareness and prevention, we encourage you to submit an application.

To apply, please send the following documents to Barbara Kent at barbarakent02@gmail.com

  • Cover letter, including a brief expression of interest in the role
  • Resume, including your qualifications and experience.

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to attend a facilitation training workshop to prepare for the role in line with the Network’s program. Facilitators and co-facilitators will then connect monthly at Network mentoring meetings. This will create a dynamic Network Support Collective, with ongoing skills training and collaboration, practices of which are directly applicable to other therapeutic roles.

Joining a Network Support Group is easy, just make the call.
