Michelle Hookham

The Network Support Group Manager

Michelle Hookham – AHPRA Regd., mACMHN, AROH Regd., mAHA

Michelle is a Credentialed Mental Health Nurse and Homeopath, with experience spanning 30 years in healthcare across a diverse range of settings. She has an established private practice in Windsor, and clinical experience across both professions enhances the practice of the other, with the evolution of a unique skill set that is both flexible and holistic.

Michelle is a past Chairperson to the International Council for Homeopathy (ICH) and past National President of the Australian Homeopathic Association (AHA), providing experience in management and leadership.

Following a passion for connection, collaboration and community, Michelle instigated a grass-roots initiative in the Hawkesbury, named Be & Co. Funded by Wentworth Healthcare’s Wellbeing Grants for Farming Communities, Be & Co. aims to improve mental health outcomes by providing a place for people to connect with each other and with services to get the support they need to recover.

Michelle facilitated The Network’s Surviving Suicide bereavement support group in the Hawkesbury for three years. This experience deeply informs the development of the bereavement support group program for The Network, in line with established best practice guidelines and State and Federal health directives.

Michelle is an accredited Thinking Environment facilitator and provides workshops, supporting teams to transform their one-to-one interactions, meetings and group experiences. These skills serve The Network in delivery of services, training and mentoring facilitators and personnel.
